STANFORD, Calif.--Former independent presidential candidate John B. Anderson agreed in writing two weeks ago to teach two political science courses at Stanford University in the spring term.
Anderson, who has no prior teaching experiences, plans to teach two courses. One will be on the legislative process, and the other will focus on the future of the two-party system.
Anderson's salary will include $5000 from the Guest Professorship Board, $3500 from the Stanford Committee on Political Education, $250 from the History department, and possible additional funding from the political science department.

Anderson also agreed to participate in a series of four panel discussions political, social and economic concerns, and will be on the Stanford campus Monday through Wednesday throughout the term.
