HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
A troupe of Harvard students have found an unusual stage for their production of Gogol's The Marriage--Children's Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated institution in Boston.
The play, a modified version of the original aimed specifically for children went up Thursday at Quincy House, where it will run today and next week. The hospital performance will be on Monday.
"Children's theater grabs people. It goes for basic emotions and laughter," says Scott J. Weiner '84, the director and producer. "We're asking for a very special kind of audience. There's no deep message of heavy-handed symbolism," he adds.
