An article in yesterday's Crimson incorrectly described the nature of Professor of Sociology Theda Skocpol's tenure battle with the University. The case was settled through an internal grievance process with no legal action.
The article also stated that Harvard lawyer Allan A. Ryan, Jr., had "authored" a University brief in a recent Supreme Court case. Ryan co-wrote the brief with Vice President and General Counsel Daniel Steiner '54
