SPORTS DAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Sponsored by the Harvard House and Neighborhood Development (HAND) program, Sports Day yesterday at Soldiers Field included 25 to 30 Harvard HAND volunteers and approximately 150 children aged five to eight. Prior to the onset of the rain at noon, the volunteers and children--who usually only interact in an educational setting--had an opportunity to participate in a "field day" of sports. Once the rain began, the group moved the sports fest indoors to Briggs Cage, where it held an indoor "cookout."
