ARLINGTON, Texas-After taking a tour of The Ballpark with Nolan Ryan, free agent pitcher Randy Johnson was treated to something extra-a reported four-year guaranteed deal for about $50 million.

Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks said it was "by far the largest offer in the history of the organization." Johnson declined to comment on the offer, The Dallas Morning News reported yesterday.

The 6-foot-10 left-hander also is being courted by several other teams, including Arizona and Los Angeles. His agent, Barry Meister, said Johnson hopes to make a decision by tomorrow.
