The Harvard Crimson Proudly Announces Its Editorial Cartoonists for the Spring Semester

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Serene Chen ’08 is a prospective biochemistry concentrator in Stoughton Hall, where the air is clear, the children are free and the moon appears a little rounder than from anywhere else.  As soon as she can find time, she plans to hike the whole Appalachian Mountains—or a portion sizable enough to be put on her résumé. Please give her a reason to compulsively check her email on Thursdays, when her work appears, by giving her feedback at sichen@fas.harvard.edu.

Sakura M. Christmas ’07 is a history concentrator in Winthrop House. Other than her undying love for bubble wrap, she likes playing Ultimate, telling dead baby jokes and making sound effects like this: mrrrwaap. Look for her cartoon on Tuesdays.

Priya Rajdev ’07 is a government concentrator in Eliot House. When she’s not chillin’ out, maxin’ or relaxin’ (all cool), you can find her playing sax or eating dinner really slowly. This Westchester, N.Y. native loves the work of Al Hirschfeld, Disney and John Cleese. Look for her cartoon on Fridays.

Alex G. Rosati ’05 is a psychology concentrator in Eliot House who sadistically betrayed her Harvard Independent co-workers by applying for a cartooning position at The Crimson, and then threw pointy ninja stars at them by reapplying three times. Although she enjoys penning metaphorical third person statements that imply a basic familiarity with martial arts fighting techniques, this native of picturesque Fresno, Calif. in fact has no idea what she is talking about. Look for her cartoon on Wednesdays.

Stacey J. Sublett ’05 is a government concentrator in Lowell House. When not fending off cockroaches, Stacey enjoys long walks along the harbor, cozy dogs and Elvis Costello. But this Jersey girl’s real passion lies in her love for Aaron McGruder, Carrot Top movies and performance art. In her last year at Harvard, Stacey hopes to actually draw a funny cartoon. Please let her know how she’s doing at sublett@fas.harvard.edu. Look for her cartoon on Mondays.
