The Democrats of Yale agreed with the Democrats of Harvard in a moek convention held at New Haven Tuesday night in which Carter Glass of Virginia received the presidential nomination on the twenty-fourth ballot.

The nomination of the Senator from Virginia came after a long period of deadlock between Al. Smith and John W. Davis of Virginia, while the University convention saw Smith. Davis; Underwood, and McAdoo of almost equal strength in the beginning. It is notable that it required the Blue Democrats 17 more ballots to make up their minds than it did the Harvard Democrats, who nominated their candidate on the seventh ballot.
