MEASLES HITS BASEBALL SQUAD

R. Harte '17 Will be Kept from Practice for Several Days.

R. Harte '17, catcher on the University nine for the past two seasons, was unable to report for baseball practice yesterday on account of a slight attack of the measles, which has confined him to the Stillman Infirmary. Harte felt ill Tuesday and went to the Infirmary yesterday morning. A report was given out from there late last night that he was doing very well, and will probably be out within a week. With the first game of the season with the Braves April 10 less than two weeks away, it is doubtful whether he will recover in time to play in this contest.

The baseball squad did not have its regular practice game yesterday, Coach Duffy deeming it unwise to risk the players especially the pitchers' arms on account of the cold and rather windy weather.

The Freshman players were given their regular workout in the cage, Coach Ball watching the men in a snappy batting and fielding practice.
