BASE-BALL.

Harvards 24; Beacons, 10.

In the game with the Beacons yesterday, Harvard was victorious by a score of 24 to 10. Dr. Pope pitched for the Beacons. The first basemen both played well. The playing of Wright at short and the centre fielder for Beacons, and that of Coolidge, Baker and Le Moyne was very good. Thayer and Welch led the batting for the Beacons, and Bean, Burt, Coolidge, Olmsted, Baker and Hall batted well for Harvard.
