Complaint has been made by the captain of the foot ball eleven, that members of the second eleven, and sometimes of the first, are not out on Jarvis Field with anything like the proper degree of promptness. Lack of practice should certainly not be a ground of excuse for any weakness in the playing, and as the afternoons are growing very short, it is to be hoped that men will do their duty and turn out on time if they expect to retain their places.
