EDITORS HERALD-CRIMSON:-I wish to ask if it is not customary and perfectly proper for a young gentleman to attend any of the afternoon athletic exhibitions at Harvard in company with two young ladies without a chaperone. I have asked this question of several of the most prominent social men in Harvard. I have been unable to find one who has not said that it is all nonsense in any one's wishing to make out that it is necessary to have a chaperone under such circumstances. W.
