We are informed that certain employees of the college are endeavoring to persuade the financial managers of the institution of the advisability of employing a yard policeman by day, as well as a watchman at night, not to interfere with the students in any way, but to keep the yard from being, as now, the play-yard of Cambridge youths. We have felt for years the necessity of such a step, and sincerely hope that the plan will be carried into operation.
