With the first bell of this morning the activities of another college year begin. It is not the intention of the CRIMSON to burden its readers with promises for the coming year, or to make an extended salutatory. While we endeavor to correct the mistakes of the past we shall try as heretofore to devote our columns to the best interests of Harvard and Harvard men. In this work we shall need the co-operation of the students both old and new. We extend you therefore, our greeting, and assure you that we will join you most heartily in every effort made for the betterment of Harvard in the athletic and the intellectual field.
