We wish to congratulate also the nine for not only its play on Saturday but for the general good work which it has been doing of late. It has shown a steady improvement and now seems far stronger at all points than at any previous time this season. Such careful work is very encouraging. The college, however, has not given the nine its presence and hearty support at the games played this year. In themselves the games may not have been important, but they have been of enough interest to deserve far more encouragement from the college. We trust that the college will have the opportunity yet this year to give the nine its support in more important games than have so far been played.
