The Yale crew for the first time will begin training in the fall instead of waiting until spring, as they have been accustomed to do. The men have been divided into four crews, and will row three times each week as long as the weather permits, when the tanks will be used in the gymnasium.
Besides the old crew the most promising candidates are, Howland, '94; Rogers, '94; Cross, '96; Brown, '96; Hopkin, '96; Penson, '96.
