W. B. Woodbridge '93, has been elected captain of the Princeton track athletic team.

The first annual tennis tournament of the Worcester Athletic Club begins today. The following Harvard men play their first matches as follows: Hoppin, Simonds, and Read, this afternoon; Winslow, Tuesday morning, and Wrenn, Tuesday afternoon.

A year ago Columbia College abolished compulsory attendance at the morning religious services. A recent number of the Columbia Spectator says that although the attendance is considerably less, those who do attend manifest much more interest in the exercises.

The University of Nebraska has abolished the names of freshman, sophomore, etc., and the only distinction will be in the case of the freshman who will be known as in "the first year of residence." All others will be accredited by the number of hours a week taken.
