Dr. Donald of Trinity Church, Boston, preached last night in Appleton chapel from the text "Seek ye first the kingdom of God," taken from the sixth chapter of Matthew.

All Christians can never be bonded together, he said, by sects, but they all are held together by the fact that they are all fellow members of the Kingdom of god. It is hard to say exactly what we mean by this. The kingdom of God does not mean the Church, it does not mean those who have certain beliefs or even those who have lived virtuous lives. Christ never said exactly what it was. He compared it to many things but never defined it. If we study his teachings we learn that he is preparing a kingdom of all those who are trying to lead a pure, true life, and who seek to serve God, and love Him with all their hearts.
