A meeting of delegates met in New York last week to arrange an intercollegiate fencing contest. Columbia's representative was L. M. Lawson. A. G. Thatcher was the delegate from the Harvard Fencing Club. Yale failed to send a delegate. A series of tournaments was arranged to be held in New York and Boston alternately. A silver cup has been offered by two prominent New York fencers to be awarded to the winning team.
