Frank Fay Howe '92.

Frank Fay Howe of the class of '92 died at his home in South Framingham, Mass., on February 24th, at the age of 25 years. Mr. Howe had been ill since last Thanksgiving, but he had been able to be up and about until a week before his death, when he was seized with acute Bright's disease. His funeral was held at his home in Concord street, the Rev. F. E. Emrich pastor of the Grace Congregational church officiating.

Frank Fay was the youngest son of Willard and Charlotte Howe, and was born in Framingham on June 1, 1868. He was educated in the common schools of Framingham and was a graduate of the Framingham academy and high school, class of '87. The year 1887-88 he spent at the Phillips. Exeter Academy, entering Harvard in the autumn. Throughout his course at Harvard he took excellent stand, paying especial attention to the classics and to history. At graduation he received honorable mention in Greek and in history, and among the commencement parts was assigned a disquisition. Howe led a thoroughly quiet, studious life at Cambridge and on that account was never prominent in a social way, but he was greatly beloved by his friends, of whom he had many in his class at Exeter and at Harvard.
