'Varsity Crew.
Saturday the first squad of the 'varsity crew candidates took a long run. The second squad rowed at noon under the direction of Mr. Hammond who will have charge of the 'varsity squads for the next few days while Mr. Watson is away.
Of late the first 'varsity crew has been rowing in the following order: Stroke, Bullard, No. 7, Shepard; No. 6, R. H. Stevenson; No. 5, Sprague; No. 4, Townsend; No. 3, Fennessy; No. 2, Watson; bow, Forbes.
