At the meeting of the Wendell Phillips Club last night the subject was: "Resolved, that the modern ethical drama has a bad effect on public morals." R. H. E. Starr '96 and H. G. Gray '97 spoke for the affirmative, R. B. Sprague '97 and F. D. Pollak '96 on the negative. The vote on the merits of the debate resulted in favor of the negative. The next meeting of the club will be especially for freshmen who wish to compete for membership. There will be one more meeting after that for the election of officers.
