At the annual meeting of the Board of Overseers of Harvard College, held yesterday morning at 50 State street, in the absence of the president of the Board, Hon. George O. Shattuck occupied the chair.

The Committee on Elections reported that the following-named persons had been chosen members of the Board for six years: Theodore Roosevelt, Charles Francis Adams, Edmund Wetmore, Robert Bacon, Robert Grant; for four years, Robert McNeil Morse.

It was voted to concur with the President and Fellows in their votes, appointing Maurice Whittemore Mather A. M., instructor in Latin for one year from Sept. 1, '95, Frederic Huntington Osgood B. S., M. R. C. V. S., acting Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine for the year 1895-96, and Albert James Sheldon D. V. S., instructor in meat inspectionfor one year from Sept, 1, 1895. It was also voted to reappoint for one year from Sept. 1, 1895, Lester Heard Howard D. V. S., clinical lecturer; William Orison Underwood A. B., lecturer on warranty and evidence; Wesley Levi LaBaw, D. V. S., demonstrator of anatomy and assistant surgeon; George Brown Foss, M. D. V., resident hospital surgeon and lecturer on discases of dogs; Frank Ingersoll Proctor A. M., M. D., instructor in ophthalmology.

Solomon Lincoin was re-elected president of the Board for one year, and Rev. Dr. Alexander McKenzie was re-elected secretary for three years.

The following named committee was appointed to nominate the visiting committees: Messrs. Green, Storey, Williams, Bancroft, Sever and C. F. Adams.
