The sophomore crew has now been rowing on the river for about a week, and during that time has shown decided improvement. The new men are doing fairly well, but there are still noticeable breaks in time at 7 and 4. A great deal of this improvement is due to the fact that Mr. Watson has coached the crew for the last few days, going out in the launch before the varsity was ready to row. The only recent change in the make-up of the crew is at bow, where Rantoul replaced Gleason yesterday. The present order is as follows:
Stroke, Cornwell; 7, Wrightington; 6, White; 5, Kernan; 4, Dunlop; 3, Chatman; 2, Watson; bow, Rantoul.
