A party has been organized to make visits of inspection to several engineering works during the April recess.
The members of the party will proceed on Monday, April 20, to Worcester, Mass., where the Washburn and Moen Manufacturing Co.'s works will be visited. The same night they will leave for Providence, R. I., where two days will be spent in inspecting the Rhode Island Locomotive Works, and the establishments of the Brown and Sharpe Mfg. Co., the Corliss Steam Engine Co., and other engine building firms. Students desiring to join this party are requested to see me before the 18th inst. The visits are open to all members of the University.
