Yale's Practice.

[Associated Press.]

NEW HAVEN, CONN., Nov. 8, 1897.

For three quarters of an hour this afternoon Yale's practice was secret but during the later part spectators were admitted. The 'varsity lined up against the college eleven and made a fine showing. The college eleven were unable to gain except around the ends, which seem to be Yale's vulnerable point, while the 'varsity gained at will. No one was injured in the practice.

Tomorrow and Wednesday regular practice will be held. On Thursday there will be exercise in the morning, light practice in the afternoon, and signals in the evening. Friday morning enough work will be given to keep the men limber and early in the afternoon they will leave for Boston.
