The last day for receiving the names of competitors for the Boylston Prizes is Wednesday, April 29. The public competition will take place on Thursday, May 13. All selections to be delivered must be first approved by Professor A. S. Hill.
Two first prizes of sixty dollars each and three second prizes of forty-five dollars each, are to be awarded by the Corporation. This competition is open only to Seniors and Juniors. The competitors speak, not their own compositions, but selections from English, Greek or Latin authors; the proportion in English is to be, however, at least two selections out of every three.
