HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Seventy-two men were candidates at the two trials of the University Banjo Club. Last year's club is practically intact and only a small number of new men will be finally retained, but it is possible that some them may displace former members.
The following men have been retained for further trial:

First basses -- P. L. Fish '01, J. P. Whalen Sp., C. L. Ellison '01, L. A. Janney '02, L. P. Frothingham '02, R. Kinnicutt '02, F. R. DuBois '01, W. Wadsworth '02, C. B. Hollings '01.
