The Natural History Society is this year at work upon a project undertaken over a year ago and which will not be completed for three or four years to come. This work consists in making a detailed map of all the country in the immediate vicinity of Cambridge with reference to trees, plants, birds, minerals and hills. An idea of the size of the map itself may be gained from the fact that the drawings will be made on the scale of five inches to the mile. The present officers of the society are: M. L. Fernald '97, president; G. M. Allen '01, vice-president; L. W. Riddle '02, secretary; C. E. Preston 1G., treasurer.
