Cricket Team Outplays Lynn.

At Lynn on Saturday the cricket team clearly showed superiority to the Lynn eleven, although lack of time prevented the conclusion of the game and caused a draw, the score standing, Lynn 59 and Harvard 45 with but three wickets down.

Lynn went to bat first and by slow, cautious batting ran up 59 runs in two hours playing. Wall and Hubbard batted well for 10 and 15 respectively. Bradley and Wilder bowled steadily for Harvard, but were unfortunate in having fly balls fall just out of reach of the fielders.

Harvard in the 45 minutes of actual play during her innings scored 45 runs, chiefly through the efforts of Lowry, whose score was 35. Macneill, although severely hurt by a swift ball, played pluckily and steadily for 8 runs. The rest of the team had no chance to bat before time was called.

On the whole, the eleven seems to be improving, although the fielding on Saturday was somewhat unsteady. Harvard.   Score. Fairweather, c. Dixon, b. Hemingway,  0 Macneil, l.b.w. Gorse,  8 Lowry, c.
