The Mineralogical Museum has recently received two cases from Professor J. E. Wolff who is now traveling in Europe. The cases were filled mostly with laboratory apparatus and specimens for class-room work, but contained also a few rare specimens of minerals which have been placed on exhibition. A third case, which is expected soon, will contain apparatus for the course in optical mineralogy. Professor Wolff's collections have been made more to fill the vacancies in the laboratory specimens than to provide new specimens for exhibition.
