The Radcliffe Curriculum.

The announcement of courses at Radcliffe shows considerable change in the curriculum for this year. In all, forty-eight new courses have been added to the list, while thirty of last year's courses have been dropped. In general, the change seems to have been made in the more advanced courses, but still there are additions in the more elementary courses of nearly all the departments.

In the Classics, two literature courses have been added, and of the eight courses in Classic Philology, seven are new. In the English, French and German departments, the language courses remain the same, with additions, however, to the literature courses in each case. Professor Munsterberg will give three new courses in the department of Philosophy. There are seven new courses in advanced mathematics.

There are twenty-three new Harvard instructors this year, an increase of six over the last year's number. Among them are Professor C. L. Smith, Professor H. C. G. von Jagemann, Professor Edward Channing, Professor Y. E. Wolff, Assistant Professor W. F. Osgood, Mr. R. de C. Ward and Assistant Professor T. N. Carver.
