FIVE TOUCHDOWNS SCORED

Marshall Makes Drop Kick from 25 Yard Line.-Punting Improving.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Practice yesterday showed some improvement, especially in kicking. Marshall scored a drop kick from The 25 yard line and Kernan and Ristine each averaged from 45 to 50 yards in punting. The work of the line showed a falling off. The men played high, started slowly, and took things too easily. The defense was not steady. Several of the Freshmen were tried in the line-up yesterday. Kidder at left guard and Mills at left tackle did fairly good work. There was some fumbling, but not more than should be expected with a slippery ball and a snowy field.

Blagden was out yesterday and took part in the signal practice and running but did not play in the line-up. Campbell and Graydon also remained out of the line-up; but all the rest of the first eleven played as usual. In the line-up,five coaches played at one time on the second eleven. Cabot played at end, J. Lawrence and Waters at tackles, Bouve at guard and Burnett at centre. The other coaches present were: Dean, Wrightington Dibblee, Murchie, Cochrane, Dunlop, Dr. Newell, F. Hallowell and J.S. Lawrence.

The line-up consisted of two halves of 30 and 15 minutes. In this line-up the first eleven scored five touchdowns and one goal from the field.
