Football Games Yesterday.

Cornell defeated Pennsylvania yesterday, for the first time since the two universities have played each other, by a score of 24 to 6. Pennsylvania was outplayed in every department of the game except punting; and was unable to stop Cornell's powerful attack more than half a dozen times.

Dartmouth won its first football victory over Brown yesterday by a score of 22 to 0. Dartmouth outweighed Brown at every position, and its offensive and defensive work left little room for comparison. Brown rallied only twice, gaining sixty yards both times by short rushes and snappy end runs.

Columbia defeated Carlisle 40 to 12 yesterday in a peculiar game. In the first 65 minutes of the game Columbia scored 40 points to none for Carlisle. In the last five minutes Carlisle developed unexpected strength and quickly scored 12 points.
