Columbia Wins Intercollegiate Strength Tests.

The rank of the several colleges in the intercollegiate strength test competition is as follows: Columbia, 65,271.5; Harvard, 64,090.4; Minnesota, 56,160.4; Amherst, 48,742.9; Wesleyan, 45,159.2. Last year Columbia's total was 59,489.4, while that of Harvard was 53,676. The total made this year by the first fifty men of all the colleges is 70,861.7 against 63,904.5 made last year.

R. M. Allis of the University of Minnesota holds the individual record, with a total test of 1940.9, with C. G. Herbert 1L. 71.4 points behind him. In the first fifty strongest men, Harvard has the following nineteen representatives: C. G. Herbert 1L., A. Tyng '04, R. G. Hall '04, S. G. Ellis '01, W. W. Card 1G., J. P. Laundrigan '01, F. C. H. Eichorn '01, W. E. Benscoter '02, C. A. Barnard '02, F. W. C. Foster '03, J. H. A. L. Fairweather 2L., C. H. Brewer '02, G. R. Lewis '02, W. A. Boal 1L., F. O. Butler '04, W. L. Piper '03, R. F. Webber '04, R. Edwards '01, B. Cunniff '02.
