The New Buildings.

None of the new University buildings are entirely completed, and a delay will be necessary before any of them an be used.

The building nearest completion is the addition to the University Museum. The work here is practically over, and all that remains to be done is the arrangement of the show cases and lecture seats.

The architecture Building was to have been finished by September 26, but a delay in building has set it back about two weeks. The workmen are now painting and getting ready to leave the building. All the outside grading has been filled in, and moving in from the old building will be begun in a few days.

The lecture rooms in the new scientific School are nearly ready for use; but the machinery and laboratories will not be in condition for about a month. The old buildings will be occupied until the new one is entirely ready.

The outside of the Semitic Museum is about finished, but work on the inside will be delayed until the interior can be dried out. The heating apparatus, which is to be connected with that of the University Museum, is now being put in, and the finishing work will be begun as soon as possible.

It will probably be about six weeks before the work is completed in the Stillman Infirmary, and it will then take some time to furnish is thoroughly and get it opened. The floors are now being laid and the walls finished up.
