The University band will leave for New Haven tomorrow morning on the 8.35 train. Regular rehearsals have been held for the last three weeks, and as now made up the band includes thirty- six men, of whom about twenty are members of the Pierian Sodality. This is the largest student band the University has ever had and considering the small amount of practice, the results have been very satisfactory; the men play well together and have taken great interest in the work. The Pierian Sodality has had entire charge of its formation this year, and it is hoped to make the band a permanent organization hereafter.
