Anthropological Society Lectures

The Harvard Anthropological Society will give a series of lectures, during March and April, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Art Museum. The lectures will begin at 8 p. m., and will be open to the public. They will come in the following order:

March 12 -- I. "Exploration of a Prehistoric Earthwork and Group of Altar Mounds in Ohio." (Illustrated by stereopticon.) By Professor Frederick Ward Putnam.

March 20-- II. "Ruins of the Decapolis in Eastern Palestine." (Illustrated by stereopticon). By Mr. Henry Minor Huxley 1G.

March 27--III. "The Ruins of Petra." (Illustrated by stereopticon). By Mr. Henry Minor Huxley 1G.

April 3--IV. "The Evolution of Design in Primitive Art." (Illustrated by stereopticon). By Professor Livingston Farrand.

V. "Totemism and Animisin in the Light of Recent Research." By Miss Alice C. Fletcher. Date to be announced.
