Owing to a misunderstanding between the crew management and the athletic committee, the date of the graded crew races has again been changed. They will be held on Friday, November 6, at 3.30 o'clock. The races will be rowed in two sections: the first and second crews will start first and will be followed as soon as possible by the third and fourth crews. The race will be over the regular course of one and seven-eighths miles, down stream from the Longwood Bridges to the Union Boat Club.
The first Newell graded crew was re-arranged yesterday to see if better results, both in time and form could not be obtained. The positions now are: Bow, Olney; 2, James; 3, Switzer; 4, Durfee; 5, Molier; 6, White; 7, Foster; cox, Green.
