Lacrosse Practice Begins.

Those candidates for the University and class lacrosse teams who have had little or no previous experience at the game will begin stick work this afternoon on the handball courts in the rear of the Hemenway Gymnasium. The men will be divided into squads which will report daily, except Saturdays, at 4 o'clock, for such practice in passing and catching as will place them, in the elements of the game, on an equality with the more experienced players when the field work begins. It is expected that the ground will be in condition for games in about a month.
