Owing to a high wind which caused rough water on the course, the final race for the class rowing championship, which was to have taken place yesterday, was postponed to this afternoon. According to present plans the race will be rowed at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon, down-stream over the regular mile and seven-eighths course.

The crews will be placed as follows, beginning at the Beacon street wall: Freshmen, Law School, Seniors, Sophomores, and Juniors on the outside.

F. L. Higginson, Jr., '00 will act as referee, and the judges at the finish will be R. A. Derby '05 and A. Hemenway, Jr., '05.

The plan of holding a consolation race for those crews which lost in the preliminaries has been abandoned, as several of the crews which were to have entered have disbanded.

The selection of the Freshman crew squad will be made after the race this afternoon: J. F. Perkins 3L. has been appointed coach of the Freshman crew.
