Practice Hockey Game Today.

The regular practice of the University hockey squad yesterday afternoon showed a decided improvement over the work of Thursday. There was more accuracy in passing and shooting and the men followed back and puck with greater speed, though the forwards still fail to make sufficient use of the sides of the rink. A tendency of the men to play somewhat out of their exact positions was also apparent. During the latter half of the practice snow on the rink handicapped the teams in their passing. The practice consisted of two thirty-minute periods. The men were coached by J. S. Lovering '03, captain of the University team of last year.

This afternoon at 3 o'clock on the rink on Holmes Field, a practice game will be played with the Cambridge Latin School. This game should not prove at all a difficult one for the University team.
