The Italian Club gave a dinner in honor of Count Angelo de Gubernatis of the University of Rome, at the Colonial Club last night. The president of the club, Francis W. Snow, instructor in French and Italian in the University, spoke in Italian, emphasizing the fact that Italian requires greater and more serious study in our universities.
