A king's gambit tournament is being held by the members of the Chess Club. There are thirteen entries, and the winner will be awarded a cup or a medal.

The international match between the English and American universities has been indefinitely postponed, owing to the prohibitive cable rate, which has been raised since the beginning of the war between Japan and Russia.

The class tournament will be held next week, each team consisting of three men. The team winning the Sophomore-Freshman match will play the Graduates, and the winners of this match will play the winners of the Senior-Junior match for the class championship.
