Japanese Consul at Union.

Osborne Howes, Esq., Honorary Japanese Consul in Boston, will speak in the Living Room of the Union this evening, at 7.30 o'clock, under the joint auspices of the Union and the Harvard Japan Club on "The Present Situation in the Far East." Mr. B. S. Kimura, Gr. Div., President of the club, will preside. The meeting is open to all members of the Union.

The leading Japanese of this vicinity have been invited to be present. At the close of the address an informal reception will be held for Mr. Howes.
