HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The Juniors defeated the Seniors yesterday in the first game of the interclass lacrosse series by a score of 3 goals to 0. The Juniors had developed team play and a strong attack, which scored all three goals in the first half. The Seniors defence stiffened in the second half and no further score was made. Outerbridge, Blaxter, Rice and Adams played the best game for 1905; and Leake and de Roode for 1904.
The line-up: The Sophomores will play the Freshmen in the second game of the series on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The halves will be twenty minutes in length. J. A. Sayler 2L., will act as referee. The final game to decide the class championship will be played on Tuesday, April 26, between 1905 and the winner of today's game. The members of the team winning the class championship will receive individual cups and the right to wear their class lacrosse numerals. For today's game the chances favor the more experienced Sophomore team. The line-up:
