A New German society-Der Harvard Verein Deutscher Studenten-has recently been organized. It is planned to carry out this purpose by having occasional lectures by professors of the German Department, and papers on German subjects by members of the society.

All undergraduate and graduate students in the University who speak German well are eligible to membership upon election.

The society meets every Friday evening at 8.30 o'clock in Stoughton 26. Its officers are: J. Loewenberg '08, president; H. L. Healy '06, vice-president; and O. H. Peters 1G., secretary-treasurer.
