Yale, 78 3-4; Princeton, 25 1-4

Yale easily defeated Princeton in the annual dual track meet at New Haven last Saturday by a score at 78 and 3-4 to 25 and 1-4 points.

Two new dual meet records were made by Yale men. In the broad jump Sheffield cleard 23 feet, breaking the former record by two inmches. Gibert raised by two inches the pole vault record of 11 feet, 6 inches, held by McLanahan of Yale. The Yale team was very weak in the sprints and hurdles, but fairly strong in the distance runs, and good in the vault, broad jump and high jump. It won all the places in the two mile run and in the shot put. The distance in the latter event was 6 1-2 inches less than that made by B. T. Stephenson '08 in the dual games with Dart mouth.
