W. Minot '07 Elected Track Captain

W. Minot '07 was yesterday elected captain of the University track team for next year.

Minot prepared for College at Noble and Greenough School, where he ran on the mile relay team, captained the football team, and played left field on the baseball nine. Last year he won second place in the mile-run in the spring handicap games, and third place in the interclass games. In the handicap games last fall Minot won first place in this event, and finished third in the spring handicap games this year. He won the mile run in the interclass games, the dual meets with Yale and Dartmouth, and took fourth place in the intercollegiate games. His best time for the mile, 4 minutes, 28 4-5 seconds, was made in the interclass games this year.
