Fall Baseball Yesterday

Eighteen reported yesterday to Captain Leonard's special call for certain men to play fall baseball. Five of last year's University team reported and the other men were members of the second team, last year's Freshman team, and of the University squad. The men were divided into two teams, and an eight inning game was played in which team B defeated team A 6 to 2. The game on the whole was interesting and well played. The two teams were: Team A: Harvey, s.s.; Leonard, 3b.; McCall, 2b.; Jordan, c.; Pounds, c.f.; Wendell, l.f.; Hicks p; Hamlen, 1b.; Evarts, r.f. Team B: Currier, c.; Dana, c.f.; Paine, s.s.; Aronson, 3b.; Waters, 1b.; Frye, l.f.; Boyer, r.f.; Palmer, 2b.; Bush, p.
