New Haven, Conn., November 13, 1907.--For 25 minutes this afternoon the second team hammered the university line. It was a very severe test for the university defense, but the latter proved equal to it, and the second eleven had very little success. Veeder, playing on the second team, kicked two field goals.

In a later scrimmage against the freshmen, Coy scored two touchdowns for the university team.
